WEEK 2........DAY 3

It was the vocational day for the team. The team visited the UMCG(University Medical Center Groningen). Our team leader Dr.V.D.Tiwari had to leave early in the morning (at 8am) as he has prior appointments with the professors of neuro-surgery(his vocation) at the UMCG and the team reached late there at around 10am. Naini enjoyed the visit most as it was straight of her profession. Shivani and Abhilasha could be seen taking inbetween naps. 

A guided tour had been arranged for us at the UMCG with a lots of historical and Architectural information about the Hospital.

We had an opportunity to visit and know about the system of admitting and managing the patients and also see a technique of sending samples for investigation from OPD to the inhouse Labs using the TUBE MILL. 

We has our lunch at the UNCG canteen and went to the tour of the city of Groningen by a guide.

We visited the University of Groningen and saw the convocation hall there.

We had a  walk of the city and latter had our dinner a restraunt.

The day ended on a good note with lots of new things to be learnt.
